Analytics & Tracking
Whether we measure visits, and which outside services your browser contacts.
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This page explains whether placeyourown.ca measures visits, and which outside services your browser contacts when you use the Site.
Google Analytics and visitor tracking
We don't currently use Google Analytics or any other visitor-tracking or advertising tool. We don't build profiles of visitors, and we don't use Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn or Google advertising pixels.
If we add Google Analytics in future, we will update this page before it starts, explain exactly what is measured, switch off Google's advertising features and data sharing, and give you a way to turn it off on this page. We'll also respect your browser's Global Privacy Control signal.
Google Search Console
We may use Google Search Console to see how the Site appears in Google search results. It reports totals (for example, how often a page appeared in results) and does not identify you or place anything in your browser.
